HTC Touch

This touch screen only smartphone bears more than a passing resemblance to the iPhone and its very good. The wi-fi, the audio quality and the thumb flick menus are great. The screen is a little fiddly and there is no 3G.

Samsung G600

The camera on this handset is great, it's a pity that due to it's thickness (at 15mm, the thinnest cameraphone around) there's no flash, so night time photography is not great. This phone does allow the use of any headphones.

Alcatel OT-E207
